Transendental fire in Slovenia

Here in Ljubljana we are preparing for the Prabhupada Marathon in December. With our travelling group we went in Germany and attended a one week sankirtan seminar. It was held by Mangal Maya Prabhu, an old SK hero. His association was a great inspiration and for new devotees to distribute on the streets in Germany was also a great adventure. We had also heard through the transendental grapevine that his wife is one of the best cooks in Europe, it's confirmed.
After comming back to Slovenia we had a meeting with temple authorities, how on to organize ther Marathon. I expected as ussual, a few fanatics in TSKP and the other devotees might go out a few days before Christmas. But by the iconcievable mercy of Sri Panca Tattva a responce from devotees was very positive. They all want to go out! So the TP declared full four weeks Marathon in the temple. Like the old days, only the pujari, cooks and a cleaner will stay in the temple and all others will all go out with books. The temple program will also be adjusted so that devotees can go early out. A few congregational devotees will also join. For that purpose we had one SK workshop, how to present the books… We will all go dressed in Vaisnava dress and tilak. We are arranging some worm underware clothes for all the devotees because here it is very cold at that time. So from the beginning some 15 devotees will go out regularly. And in the middle of December Tapta Kancanadi Pr. with his bus party is also joinig the Marathon. But that is not all, the last week before Christmas everyone is welcomed to join. So that week we expected some 40 devotees to go out. At that time we think that Sankitan barometer will explode. And the last day of Marathon comes on Christmas Saturday. So in the morning we will still go out and in the afternoon and evening there will be Sankirtan Festival with Maha Maha Kirtan, marathon realizations, special gifts and of course Maha Prasadam Feast and bhajans till morning.
This weekend, just before Marathon starts we are welcomming His Grace Manidhara Prabhu. So who can be better person to inagurate Srila Prabhupada Marathon 2004 than him. He will be like fire coming in contact with dry grass. In Saturday evening Jyotirmya Pr. is organizing Sastra Dana Festival with Manidhar Prabhu as special guest. This will also be great inspiration for those who cannot go out full time. They can be engaged in the mission by sponsoring Srila Prabhupada's books.
We are all humbly asking you for blessings and prayers that we might be good instruments in the hands of Guru and Gauranga and that Srila Prabhupada and our beautiful Panca Tattva might be pleased with our endevours to help these unfortunate souls.
