A Holistic Connection
One afternoon in Cuneo, Italy, I met a boy in a holistic center who greeted me, but I was busy talking to other people and I couldn’t give him proper attention. The afternoon continued, and I finished my distribution in the town. It was already evening and time to leave for my apartment. As I’m about to leave, loading the trolley of books into my car, I see the same boy also get into his car and leave, passing right in front of me. So, I stop him and we start talking. He explains to me that he is taking courses on the Bhagavad-gita, Uddhava-gita, and the Vedas.
At that point I tell him: “Please come here, I’ll show you something.” He gets out and I show him the Srimad Bhagavatam from my car. As soon as he sees it, he makes a gesture of gratitude by placing his palms together. Conquered by this vision, he decides to take it! When I spoke with him later, he revealed to me: “A few days ago I had a vision in which I visualized a monk dressed in orange like you. I know it’s not a coincidence, it’s as if this meeting had to happen.”
Krishna always knows how to inspire and direct souls in the right way when they start taking steps towards Him. Sankirtana is magical!
