Srila Prabhupada December marathon nectar! by Madhu Mangal das
This past Friday at the Bayside shopping mall, I was relishing the nectar of distributing books. About an hour before we were to leave, the security came and asked me to leave – by that time I was distributing books at an enormous pace. What to do, I had to comply with their request, were was I to go, the rest of the surrounding shops were closing. Ahead of me stood the big McDonald's – it was then by the mercy of Guru and Krsna that I looked towards the que of cars at the takeout driveway. That's it I thought, they are all lined up and fired-up to get their Big Mac and while their waiting I'll give them one of your books. I would start at the back of the que, "Here take this and have a look". Then I would make my way to the front. Then I would go to the back and collect the donation – all glories to Srila Prabhupada by whose mercy the patient customers on their way to a hellish existence, were taking books, in the process, they were getting purified too, on their way back home, back to Godhead! Srila Prabhupada said we must think of ways and means to distribute books.
Thank you Srila Prabhupada for giving me and all those in the service of your book Distribution mission, the intelligence to do the needful, whenever wherever. We must always be prepared to distribute your books and strike while the iron is hot.
