Dear Navina Nirada prabhu,
Please accept my humble obeisances in the dust of your feet, All glories to Srila Prabhupada.
Thank you from the core of my heart for all the services especially related to book distribution you have done in ISKCON.
Your letter was quite open and frank but very encouraging. The society needs that now more than ever. I did not have the courage to write directly to the conference because I doubt anyone would care to hear from a devotee like myself who has distributed relatively few books in his devotional life (25 yrs). I have always had a deep respect for any devotee who would make the sacrifice to distribute books. As inspiring as it is to distribute books, for some of us it is an intimidating experience when it involves approaching strangers.
Your open encouragement to all forms of book distribution is a sign of your great vision. So please do NOT get down off the stage. As long as there are still devotees interested in book distribution go on speaking and encouraging.
I think that the more we all encourage each other with our personal experiences the more the fire will go on burning for book distribution. So times the torch of leadership is passed on to us at unexpected times in unexpected ways. But Lord Chaitanya, Lord Nityananda and Srila Prabhupada will always be there with us, inspiring us from within and reciprocating with us.
