Jehovah’s Witness
As she walked by she said "Oh, Hare krsna right"?
I said yes I'm a member of the Hare Krsna movement.
Then she went on to tell me the amazing way she became very favorable to our society. She had been a Jehovah's Witness for 14 years, and one of the things they do is they tell all the members about how bad all the other groups are. They would say about the Krsna's, that in the Bhagavad Gita it's all about war and violence, there's people at the top getting all the money thats being collected, etc. etc., and if you ever see a Hare Krsna then go the other way. She said they especially knocked the Krsna people. So she thought let me look into these people, maybe they have something thats more than what I have here. So she got some books and talked to some devotees, and found the philosophy to be very practical and the devotees to be very nice.
At this point I became ecstatic, here they were trying so hard to keep their people away from Krsna, but it backfired, she gave up Jehovah Witnesses and now has an attraction to Krsna, we were both laughing at how ironic it was. She then very happily bought the Bhagavad Gita.
