Krishna Reconnected me with “My Faith”

Last night, at a university in Toronto, I set up a table outside our event room, and displayed some books and beads on a nice table cloth. A girl stopped to see this as soon as she arrived at the event. I welcomed her, and we did her registration. I asked, “How did you find us?” She got a card from someone. And a girl in Kensington Market gave her the Bhagavad-gita two years ago. I asked, “Oh, did the girl look like she was from India?” She said no, the girl was white. Then I asked, “Was it...

Hearty exchanges in Cardiff

While travelling with my spiritual master, I had an opportunity to go on book distribution at Cardiff central. On October 7th, I met Mike, who'd already met devotees and gotten a Bhagavad Gita. He read it a long time ago. I tried to inspire him to read it again and try to chant the maha-mantra. Mike agreed, saying that he feels like getting back into it. I suggested that he get Srimad Bhagavatam (1.1). He happily agreed and suggested he would go to get some donation for it. A couple of minutes later he brought back 20 GBP, which would be...

Another time bomb went off

I desperately wanted to read some inspiring book, which would give me some peace of mind. I started searching books on the shelf. In the corner was Bhagavad-gita As It Is. It had been kept on my book shelf for nearly ten years. I opened it and began to read. I realized that every verse in the Gita was related to me and the Gita had solutions to my...
