Transendental Appreciation
While distributing at Wikiki in Honolulu I approached a couple and showed them the Bhagavad Gita, the man immediately started chanting the Hare Krsna mantra, this of course was enough to put the book-distribution-bliss level up another notch. I asked him how he knows the mantra.
"I've been going to the Rainbow gatherings for over 30 years so eventually I got it down, I've also put down a lot of halava, you guys sure do know how to cook".
Then the lady asked if we still had the restaurant in LA, I said we do, to that she said, "They make the best french fried potatoes in the world". I didn't have the heart to tell her that we no longer make those world class fries that she was so fond of.
They already had the Bhagavad Gita so I gave them another book and they kindly reciprocated.
