THIS IS PRECIOUS KNOWLEDGE!
I was distributing Bhagavad Gitas to motels in Whangarei. I entered one reception and there was a smart looking Chinese lady behind the counter. I showed her the Bhagavad Gita and told her we were showing them to all the hotels and motels in the area. She was very interested and said she wanted to know more about the book, so I opened the Gita and showed her the picture of the soul changing bodies.
She followed her finger along the changing bodies, and then it got to the end where the person is old and the soul then goes into another body. “So what happens when the soul leaves the body?” she enquired.
I described how the soul goes to another body depending on what we do in this lifetime. When I said this human form of life is meant for spiritual understanding, she looked at me and said, “This is true?”
“Yes, this is true,” I said and turned to the page showing the picture of the human becoming an animal and the sleeping person becoming a bear.
“This is true!” she exclaimed. “This is precious knowledge!” She held the Gita to her heart and repeated, “This is precious knowledge,” and she happily took a whole box for her motel.
