Regarding Nrsimhadeva on SKT:
One time I was distributing books in Munich with Varaha Murti Prabhu, a stalwart German SKTer for many years. We were in the midst of several weeks of very successful distribution, and on this one particular day he was making an extra endeavor to distribute 100 big hard books.
As evening arrived and it began to get dark, Varaha had just about reached his goal (he had distributed 96 or 97). Then, however, a big demon came and started following him around the shopping street breaking up any conversation that Varaha had tried to initiate. After several aborted attempts, Varaha, in the mood of total dependance on Krsna (as well as a bit of trascendental frustration), began to yell the Nrsimhadeva mantras directly at this man.
Suddenly, from around the corner, came Jahnava Priya Mataji, a disciple of Jaya Pataka Swami. Jahnava Priya is by no means small and timid. She is a least 2 meters (6 feet) tall and has a very athletic build. She also worked as an agent for the FBI in Atlanta. She came up and pushed this man (one could even say threw this man) across the shopping street and began to chastise him pretty severly, enabling Varaha to finally escape and distribute 103 big hard books.
