Miracle on Sankirtan
I was in Town Hall Sydney trying to distribute Srila Prabhupada's books nothing happened. Three hours went by not a single book went out. I sang all the prayers i knew i was starting to feel really tired and decided to go back to the ashram.
Just as i was packing to leave one Nepalese boy approached me and started shooting the breeze I was patiently hearing what he had to say. He refused Prabhupad books right away and started talking about Bhagavan Osho (some bogus sex guru).
In my mind I was thinking, "Krishna I can't take it anymore." All of a sudden this English Guy stopped, looked at the books in my hand and asked which group I belong to. I replied saying, "I'm a Hare Krishna monk." To my surprise he also said I'm a follower of Osho I'm very happy with his teachings and I don't need anything else and he was about to walk away.
As this English guy was walking away this Nepalese boy said to him very loudly, "You know how Osho always speaks about Krishna and Krishna being a big mystery? That mystery is speaking loudly in these books (pointing to my books)."
When the English guy heard that he came back with so much enthusiasm and a big smile and asked me how much I wanted for the books? I said, "Give what can." He said I just got paid today after three months so he gave me $20 and took a Science of self realization (Soft), Searching for vedic India and Perfect escape (My Gurudev Devamrita swami's books ) and promised me to come to our Govindas lotus room for Sun program.
I was remembering my Sankirtan Guru His Grace Brgupati prabhu's words how if we chant our rounds, go out and sincerely try lord Caitanya will always reward us, there is no doubt.
