Life saver
Cronulla Beach, Sydney, Australia.
Bhakta Josh from Brisbane and I were having a great day distributing Prabhupada's books at the beach.
We took a short lunch brake and went for a swim to freshen up.
On the way back to our books I saw a man with a tattoo on his chin and spontaneously,
I said "how's it going mate?".
"Good" he said a bit surprised.
I had no books at the time, we were just running past in our swim shorts but I thought maybe I might see him later up in the mall with our books. Sure enough a little later he came past with his girlfriend and there pet dog.
I put the all powerful, life saving Bhagavad Gita in his hand and said "remember me? I said hello down by the beach."
When I asked him about the tattoo on his chin he told me that it was the logo for the business that he no longer owns.
I then told him that due to lack of real knowledge people are missing the real point of life and therefore they are missing out on real happiness. He was really excited about the book.
He told me he had tried to kill himself three times already and that the book would be just what he needs in life.
He was really impressed to see young men (Josh and I) who were clued on to real knowledge.
I told him its all because of the good work of our Spiritual masters.
Another life saved. Jaya!!! Srila Prabhupada!!!!!
