Law Books for the next 10,000 years

I had a blissful day distributing books in downtown Dar es Salaam. The main street was a hive of activity – taxis, busses, a huge sea of people coming and going, street vendors on every corner selling everything from belts, wallets to exotic fruits of all kinds.
People would stare at me with a curious look, but all the time smiling and greeting me. I stopped one barrister on his way to court, dressed in his court dress, and traditional white shirt and neck tie. I began to speak to him and told him the reason the laws are not working, is because nobody is obeying the laws of god – he nodded his head in agreement. I showed him the chapter in the Ki Swahili Science of Self Realization entitled: “Peace Formula”. After reading it he asked how much I wanted for the book, I told him five thousand Tanzanian shilling. He said he did not have five thousand shillings, could I take three. I told him since he was so eager to read the book, he could have it for three thousand shillings for which he thanked me. I told him that the book was a law book for the next ten thousand years and told him to study it. I put my email address on the front cover and told him to write back to me, as I was sure that when he read it, he would have lots of questions. He greeted me as he left by saying: “Kwaheri,” which means farewell in Ki Swahili.
How nicely the people of East Africa are taking Srila Prabhupada’s books, they are so fortunate to receive them, After all, East Africa is the birthplace of ISKCON in Africa
