Krishna Always Helps
We were distributing Srila Prabhupada's books in the trains at the train station in Bangalore, South India. Often it is difficult to distribute even a one book to someone. Once I was approaching every person in the train and trying to show them our books but nobody was even touching them. So I entered one train going to Chennai (south india) and in this train, one air conditioned car had Srinivasa Govinda's pictures everywhere. Basically inside this compartment there were all the details about Tirupati Balaji temple, many things were depicted about Tirupati dhama on the inside walls of this compartment.
I entered this compartment and felt like I entered Vaikuntha. But still people were not looking at the books at all. So at one point I just stopped in the middle of the compartment and was just looking at the pictures of Balaji and praying to Him for His mercy to distribute books. Then a man came and asked if I had a Bhagavad gita, I showed it to him and he immediately took one.
Then in the evening I was again having a hard time so I went out of the train sat on a bench and chanted Hare Krsna, again a man came out and asked me if I had a Ramayana in Telegu, I did, so he purchased it. A short time later he came and asked if I had one in english, I did, so he received more mercy.
It's amazing how when we take shelter of Krsna the books go out with so little effort.
Krishna wants us to go on distributing Srila Prabhupada's books. And he is always ready to help us.
