During the marathon in the LA airport, I approached a man who was in line to check in. As I was showing him Your Ever Well Wisher, he took interest and was about to give 5 dollars. At that moment, His Holiness Tamal Krsna Goswami came out of gate 5 along with the other passengers arriving from Dallas. I immediately pointed to him, telling the man, "You see that man over there? His name is His Holiness Tamal Krsna Goswami. He is one of the very important disciples of Srila Prabhupada." Then I randomely opened the book towards the end, where I knew Tamal Krsna Maharaja appears often, having been Srila Prabhupada's secretary during his last days. Sure enough, his name appeared several times on the page where I opened. "You see," I told the man, "that's him coming our way!" Maharaja approached us and politely greeted us and continued his way to the baggage claim, accompanied by his disciple Balarama dasa. The man I was talking to was so impressed that he gave me twenty dollars instead. I could see how moved and excited he was.
