I love you Srila Prabhupada!
Dear Srila Prabhupada,
Please accept my humble obeisances at the dust of your lotus feet (although
I am not worthy to serve them), all glories to Sri Guru and Sri Gauranga, all glories to the sankirtan devotees of the Lord!
Srila Prabhupada, this is the 9th day of your December Book Distribution Marathon here in Cape Town – I just wanted to say how we are all trying to please you at this most auspicious time of the year. I am experiencing your mercy upon this insignificant soul Madahumangala das. I am thanking you for your mercy which has helped me distribute lot's of your books to many fortunate spsirit souls who have taken your books. Yesterday, at the Tygerberg Shoping Center, I went into one small little gift shop and showed a lady your books who owns the kiosk. I showed her a large seclection of your small and medium books- her eyes lit up as she looked at them, "Yes my son would be very interested to have these books, I would like to have them." She took 3 – as I thanked her for her kind donation. I began putting the rest of the books back in my bag. As I did so, she stopped me and said, "How much for those", and gave me another donation. I thanked her again – she began telling me that she had breast cancer. She further went on to tell me, her doctor has discovered that she has cancer of her kidneys and that she is developing luekemia. I told her, "Whatever happens, she should be strong, she is not the body but the eternal spirit soul and that she can never die". She said that she believed that, and that" she was not afraid to die. I was so astonished, I told her, that she is a very special spirit soul and that she had blessed me by her humility. She smiled and tightly held her eyes closed, trying not to cry thanking me for your books Srila Prabhupada. I felt so helpless after I left her Srila Prabhupada, but I am certain that she has recieved your mercy and the blessings of Lord Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu, she will become a devotee of Krsna!
I am so fortunate that I am able to come into contact with such rare souls.
