Two Highlights From The Waikato
Recently, I went on a six-day stint in the Waikato. I was in Hamilton East–in a small car park–and stopped an athletic lady. She happened to be Joelle King, the best women squash player for New Zealand. After an injury, her ranking dropped from No. 4 in the world to 17th. Six months after her recovery, she is now up to 11th in the world. But she explained that she isn't satisfied. Her sports psychologist suggested...
A Perfect Sequence of Events
On Rama Navami, after an ecstatic morning program, we went out to distribute books, but were delayed by unusually heavy traffic and arrived later than expected at our South Auckland spot. As I parked, a lady appeared outside the car. Inspired from within, I jumped out of the vehicle and talked with her. Siella (see attached photo) has a real interest in yoga and meditation and was very happy to look at the Science of Self Realisation....
Door to door
Since the start of this year, in the mood of Haridasa Thakura and Nityananda Prabhu, I've been doing a lot of what I think is an under-rated form of book distribution: door to door. However, you can ask the staff whether anyone wants the Gita.” We asked everyone, but no one seemed interested. Disappointed and dejected, I then heard a voice calling. It was...
The Glorious Sankirtan Devotees
Tara das- Yes, the ongoing efforts of determined book distributors is an inspiration to us all. And your service in this field is also etched in eternity. But with folded hands I suggest that such comments as "…KC is not spread by temples…" has no place in our consciousness. After all, Srila Prabhupada was quite enthusiastic to open as many temples as possible. Many conditioned souls acquire books in the temples....

Sao Paulo won the world sankirtan maraton 2 times. And i think is one of the best places to do book distribution! But for the last 4 or 5 years we didn´t had a good sankirtan party. Now in Sao Paulo, after my Gurumaharaja (HH Bhakti Tirtha Swami) give me enthusiasm to do Book...
