Before Nrsimhadeva Marathon
Sankirtana story
It was a nice day just couple days before this yers Nrsimhadeva marathon.I was distributing in front a huge Supermarket on a parking lot. By Krisnas mercy It was wonderfull day books were going out and people got the mercy. Then I met one man who was really interested in yoga and our life style. I introduced couple books to him and He was really happy about it and decided to take one book. I opened the book and I showed all the pictures and vocabulary sanskrit texts and everything and this man he really apriciated. So I thought that because this person was interested in yoga and healthy lifestyle he should actually get the whole Srimad Bhagavatam to really get the idea what Hare Krisna is all about. So I asked if he would like to see the whole encyclopedia ? So I showed him the whole set and he really liked it he was interested to learn more about the suject matter. So I was talking this and that about all the different cantos Like telling how it begins from the first canto about conception of God and the absolut truth and how there are ten cantos translated by Srila Prabhupada founder acaraya of our Krisna conciousness movement and how there are many wonderfull stories in the books. As an example I told the story of Maharaja Bharata from the fifht canto to illustrate reincarnation. And I told How these books Srimad Bhagavatam they are like cream of the vedas and just by reading from the first part up to tenth canto summum bonum one can become self realized. By the causeless mercy of the supersoul the words sometimes Happen to manifest in a right way.Tesam satata yuktanam bhajatam priti purvakam dadami budhi yogam tam yena mam upayanti te…To those who are constantly devoted to serving me with love, I give undestanding how to come to me.Supreme Lord in his icredible mercy and friendliness gives intelligent from the inside to say the right things. So this man became really inspired and decided to take all the books. He gave very good donation so I gave him as introduction also one big book we call Bhakti-yoga there is three books cathered there in one Krisna reservoir of all pleasure Science of self-realization and Trancendental teachings of Prahlad Maharaja. So he also got that book for an introduction and He became really happy.
It is said that in the Spiritual world every step is dance and every word is like singing. Sometimes by his unlimited mercy Krisna gives realizations how wonderfull Sankirtana is. Where Harinam Sankirtana yajna is performed everything becomes purified and where we serve Krisna Holy Dhama is there. Of course it is not allways so easy but sometimes we can see that Ekale Isvara Krisna ara saba brtya… Krisna is the Supreme contreller of every living entity and everybody dances as He likes us to do so. this was wonderfull mercy of Lord Caitanya and Nityananda. Thank you for this day and I am praying your mercy who is reading these insinicant writings of this most unworthy servant that I could also become Trnad api sunicena taror api sahisnuna amanena manadena kirtanah sada Harih More humbler than a blade of grass and more tolerant than a tree.Thank you so much Hare Krisna.
