A most amazing distribution point
As we know from the “Teachings of Lord Caitanya,” there are no hard and fast rules for chanting Hare Krishna. Similarly, there are no hard and fast rules for distributing books. I was distributing books at a college, and I saw a security guard coming my way. Sometimes people complain. He was some distance away, so I went into a nearby building. After going through the door, I walked fast to avoid him. I made the first left, and it turned out to be a restroom. I thought, “I’ll just hang out here for a couple of minutes, and then go out and see if the security guard is gone.” While I
was standing there, I noticed a couple of people waiting in line to use the urinal, so I thought, “Why waste time?” I started showing a student the Bhagavad-gita.
While explaining it to him, to my surprise I heard from behind a toilet door, “Is that the “Bhagavad-gita As It Is” you’re showing?”
“Yes, it is. Do you want one?”
“Yes, I do.”
The toilet door had a foot of space on the bottom. He stuck his hand out from the bottom, and I handed it to him. A few minutes later he came out and gave a nice donation for it. Krishna arranges amazing ways for people to get books.
