The ecstacy of distributing Krsna Book
My focus has been on distributing Krsna books. This is to prove that distributing these books does not impede ones ability to distribute a lot of books as I have noted devotees can be hesitant to distribute Krsna books as they think it may be “too direct”. In having this focus I noticed a lot of people already know about Krsna and they are very honest and glorify the Hare Krsnas.
It has been very ecstatic, and a lot of people who I have met have come to The Loft.
While in the heat of this Krsna book distribution I met a 6 ft 5in professional man.He is German, and had been living in South Africa for some years and now moved to NZ permanently and is living in Pukekohe. I didn’t think he would take anything, but it turns out he was going through a whole existential crisis.
He took a set of books, and I didn’t think much of it, but he ended up coming to The Loft the following Sunday, He came up to me that evening and was very grateful. He has been coming regularly now for over a month attending the workshops/talks, chanting japa for 30 mins every morning and is reading Bhagavad gita daily.
This goes to show that by trying to please Krsna in doing something extra that you wouldn’t normally do, great things can happen. Krsna Book is Srila Prabhupada’s favorite book, his ecstasies, and the condensed portion of the highest literature, Srimad Bhagavatam.
