Was this an accident?
I was distributing books in the south of Italy at a shopping-center parking lot when I met a man who was interested in getting the Bhagavad-gita.
He had heard of it and wanted to read it, but I didn't have one with me, so I offered him the Science of Self Realization. He preferred the Gita, but at least he got something similar.
He gave a donation and said, "Maybe I'll see you sometime in the future, and then I can get the Gita from you."
Six months later I was at a gas station about seventy miles from where I met this man, and he comes up to me and asks, "Do you have that Gita now?"
I couldn't believe it, and I said, "Well, yes, now I do have it."
I went into the van and to his joy offered him Srila Prabhupada's Gita. He was so excited, and I was pretty excited, too. It rubbed off. Krsna is directing the wanderings of all living entities, so Krsna directed the two of us to meet again, so that the man could get what he was looking for Krsna.
