The 108th aniversary of Prabhupada’s appearence
Dear Prabhus,
Please accept my humble obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada!
While in Vrndavana, Lokanath Maharaja invited me into his room to talk about the 108th anniversary of Srila Prabhupada's appearance day, which is being observed this year until Gaurapurnima 2005 . As many of you know, he is the minister of Padayatra and the person who headed up the very successful 1996 centennial celebration. He plans on again increasing padayatras worldwide on this occasion.
To celebrate this event, we also want to do something for the pleasure of Srila Prabhupada. For the coming Prabhupada Marathon in December we would like to have the most successful book distribution marathon in the history of ISKCON.
All the devotees in the temples and congregation are welcome to glorify Srila Prabhupada in this most wonderful way. There are seven months before the marathon, so please prepare for this, tell your friends and make whatever arrangements are needed to be free to distribute Prabhupada's books.
