Miracles happen
Hare Krishna,
Revati and Jyotsana went out to preach in Nelore and happened to meet a doctor. They waited outside his office for thirty minutes, and the doctor’s assistant kept on telling them. “You are wasting your time waiting for him. He is an atheist.”
By the Lord’s mercy, they succeeded in meeting him. While looking toward them he made a remark that he was not going to listen to anything about God.
When the devotees said they would not say anything about God, he let them sit down. Gradually while they talked he started opening his heart and told them that he had lost faith because of so-called spiritual people in society.
Slowly telling him how to recognize a spiritual person and giving references from Srila Prabhupada’s books, they gained his confidence. Srila Prabhupada bestowed causeless mercy on him, and he asked for a full set of Srila Prabhupada’s books including the two sets, Srimad Bhagavatam and Caitanya- caritamrita. Srila Prabhupada’s books are a most potent way to help misguided people and those who have lost faith in spirituality.
