Letter of appriciation to Taptakancani Devi Dasi

Hi Tanya,
You might recall that we met in the airport yesterday. I wanted to thank you for being there, as the encounter has changed my life already.
Additionally, your obvious advanced state of spirituality (relative of course) is strong evidence to suggest that what you represent in Krishna Consciousness is true. No selling me on the idea is necessary, you're just sitting there radiating spiritual energy is enough.
I have had a some interest in eastern philosophy, particularly TM in past years, but lost interest in the last few years. I have become disgusted with religion in general for a variety of reasons, primarily because they tend to be self -serving and hypocritical without evidence to justify their faith. As an engineer, I tend to be very pragmatic about such things.
Still, I know there is more, and I have always believed that the truth is here among us and probably to be found in the Vedic traditions. I was aware of the Gita, but had never read it, and didn't realize that it is the basis of the Krishna movement. What little I have read so far has been fascinating, and I feel this may be the road I want to be on.
Thanks again to you,
Clayton Shaw
