Here is some stories from czech yatra during the marathon time.
Tirtha-kara das met some day in one bigger city in the shopping center one young man,which has a interesse for budhism, at least he knows the story of Buddha and some basic philosofical points of this doctrine.Although he knows also the vedic literature a little bit, he did not want any of the Prabhupadas books,but TKD was a mercyfull to him and tries to preach to him.He spoke about the origin and authority of vedic culture.The young man listened patiently,but he nevertheless took nothink and went a way. The day after the young buddhist came again to TKD and said:" I thought about it you said yesterday to me and i had to come here again and try to find you,now please give me some books." So he catched Bhagavad-gita, Second Chance and Prabhupada lilamrta (short version) and went happily home. Caitanya Mahaprabhu is mercyfull to everybody, not only impersonalists he turns even mayavadies into vaisnavas, as in the case of Prakasananda Sarasvati.In the same mood Srila Prabhupada delivers the western countries,which are full of voidism and impersonalism and he does it all the times through his books.Sankirtan yajna ki jay!
Bh Viktor distrubuted nicely in one narrow shoping street all the day and he gave out abaut 80 big books.He is new skt devotee and has nickname machine-gunner, because he is so fixed and determined to give book to anybody,that he stops allmost everybody and then shoots whole chamber of mantras solonge, untill the people are inspired take at least one book. So he did his hard service all day on the same spot like a python waiting for his prey in front of one shop whit clothing and although it was 20 grad celsium minus and Viktor was frozen through he did his best very diligently.When he wanted to stop, Krsna apreciated his endeavour and sent one lady from the shop to him.She said."I look at you all the time you sold books to the people on the street and i could see, you were constantly very enthusiastic in spite of the could strong wind the all day.What is in the books?"She took bh.Viktor inside the shop and he presented all the books to her.The woman liked it and asked how much?She said:" I will take them all, my daugther takes interest for east culture also."So she took thankful whole set of Srila Prabhupadas books.Haribol!
I personally also tried to distribute some books.It was my first sankirtan travelling marathon at all and somewhile i had hard time.One day in the shopingcenter i got again this purifying mercy.I could not stop anybody,the people behaved me heavy,nowbody wanted at least look at the books.On the other side of the street stood "machine-gunner" bh Viktor and he loosly exchanged with people, they smiled and took the books.I could not believe it.I think how is it possible,that the socalled good people are walking only on the other side of my.I was total in maya,complettly atached.After two heavy hours, not giving a book, not even stop anybody i surendered.I remembered, i should do it for Krsna,than its devotion.In this time i see one big man running through the shopingstreet in my direction.I decided, i must stop him, Krsna please help .I did not believe in success, but i tried. To my suprice he stoped, i overhanded him hastily three books and said." It is abaut old India, very nice books, please take it and give some donation.He replied OK and gave me quickly some money.Its enough, he asked. I agreed and he ran further away.The whole interaction was maximal 60 seconds. I was amazed and then i could realize, i am not the doer , Krsna arranges everythink.Since this point i could this day distribute further 42 big books and everythink was ok!
