Dear Prabhus,
Please accept my humble obeisances! All glories to Srila Prabhupada!
On the 6th of Feburary we were distributing books at a local community college in Kansas City. While there I met one very interested student who took a Beyond Illusion and Doubt from me and told me he would come back to talk more. While in the parking lot one security guard drove by and so I headed towards the college building and in the course of walking this same student was coming towards me waving. He told me that his teacher was also wanting a book and wanted to know if we would give a lecture in one of his upcoming classes.
So I went with this student, Josh, and we came to the classroom were his teacher was, luckily the classroom was empty. We all talked and the teacher said he wanted the Bhagavad Gita. Having only one I happily gave it to him and after receiving his copy he asked 'Where does God say that of mountains He is the Himalayas and of rivers He is the Ganges?'. Then I showed him the verses and he gave me twenty dollars for the Bhagavad Gita, Quest for Enlightenment, and a copy of Beyond Illusion and Doubt. Today, the 9th of Feburary, we went to give the lecture but school was called because of snow. He said that if we come in for the talk that he was willing to give another twenty dollar donation.
Your Servent,
Jnana Caksus Dasa Brahmacari
