The Prabhupada Marathon in Finland

We started our marathon from an area called Pohjanmaa. Here the people are known for being straightforward and to some degree honest.
Some of our boys did up to 60 books a day in Pohjanmaa.
On the second week we lived in Karkola, near to Lahti, in south Finland, Avadhutacandra and Isvara Puri did over 70 books some days.
For my fallen self the first week is usually very hard, and this year was no exception, but by the Vaisnavas grace more books went out on the second week in Lahti.
Bh.Janne, our man from eastern Finland joined our marathon on the second week. Janne, a 38 year old country boy, is very enthusiastic in his practises of bhakti, and the same mood was transformed to book distribution. Janne speaks a very original style of east-Finnish dialect and approached people is a very enthusiastic and straightforward way. Lahti was not the easiest place to start, 4 books, but in Riihimaki he did 13. There he met one christian, they discussed for 1 1/2 hours, the Christian ended up giving a 70 euro donation, and said that he had always wanted to meet someone similar to Jesus,(!) and got some books.
On saturday he already did 19 in Kerava, Haribol!
Now on the second week we will go first to Tampere, then to Turku a favourite place of Caitanyananda prabhu, hopefully he will bless our efforts…
We will send some more detailed stories later on, but I pray for the blessings of the great sankirtana maharaties, that our marathon would be success.
Our group had a plan to travel 10 days straight until christmas, but after seeing the book orders from our boys I don't know how to fit everything to our van…transcendental problems.
