Bhagavad-gita reaches citizens of Mumbai and jails across Maharastra

Every December, devotees at ISKCON across the world distribute Bhagavad-gita As It Is and several other spiritual books published by the Bhaktivedanta Book Trust as part of the book Marathon.

Devotees at ISKCON Juhu hope to distribute more than 1.5 lakh books to citizens of Mumbai and other parts of Maharashtra. During the last week of November 2010, several devotees left for remote parts of Maharashtra in their travelling bus with thousands of Bhagavad-gita and other spiritual literature. A large number of devotees and congregation members shall reach out to the citizens of Mumbai through stalls and outlets at various railways station and other public places.

A special hightlight of this years Marathon is the extenstive effort undertaken by devotees to distribute 30,000 copies of Bhagavad-gita As It Is to all jails throughout Maharashtra.

If you wish to receive, donate, gift or contribute towards Bhagavad-gita distribution, you can visit Bhagavad-gita stall at ISKCON Juhu or any of the following railway stations closest to you namely CST, Churchgate, Dadar, Ghatkopar, Kalyan, Dombivli, Andheri, Goregaon, Malad, Borivli, Mulund, Bhandup and Vikhroli.
