The price is one’s intense desire

While distributing books in Santa Cruz, I was showing books to a Spanish lady and her small son. Presenting the Gita, I said that this book teaches you how to love God.

She just took a small book and left a donation. After a few minutes, her son came back and asked, “Please give me the book which teaches how to love God.”

It was inspiring and touching to see his sincerity and eagerness. He was very grateful and happy.

Somehow I remembered this verse (Cc. Adi 1.56, purport”) “One should try to purchase a ticket to go back home, back to Godhead. The price of such a ticket is one’s intense desire for it, which is not easily awakened, even if one continuously performs pious activities for thousands of lives.”

Your servant,
Mahava Govinda Dasa
